i no this is well in advance

I do not stand before you claiming to be a spelling and grammar ninja.

I do stand before you with a heavy heart.

I read several different forums for my many hobbies. I may have to give them up completely, though. The murder of the English language is going to happen. I'm not required to watch the public beheading, am I?

I read posts and comments on these boards and am astonished. I am not talking about common mistakes (There use of words is poor their and in other places_.

I am not talking about the VERY annoying laziness-inspired abuse of internet short hand (How R U 2day).

Nope. I am talking about the following (real examples, BTW)

"it gives a 5+ save in hth without restrikting you to one weapon"

If you've read one book you cannot think restricting looks right with a k.

" i'd like your opinion as to witch one would be most cost effective ?"

I find Warlocks far more cost effective.

"i tough it was pretty explicit but thanks for putting it better."

Kill me now.

...and my personal recent favorite:

"Iv had an idear for a diormer i would love to do for next years UK GD i no this is well in advance and if im honist it has to be."

My mailman is

So... you thought only one person had the worst taste in men?

You were wrong.

A* is not alone in her lack of judgment for the brawnier gender.

I was once married in a time when parents left, cats marked, jobs started and long buried reality surfaced.

No, she is not buried under my old tool shed.

My mailman is.

Nope, she is buried up in Boston.

By buried, I mean blogging.

By Boston, I mean... um.... well, Boston.

Check out the woman slow enough to marry me and smart enough to no longer be.

I want you all to meet her. She's the best ex-wife a man can have and one hell of a scribe.

I'm selling out quickly

I am the road warrior.

There are times in my career that I travel on a weekly basis. Now is that time. In December I was in South Florida, Atlanta and DC. This month I will be in Dallas, San Diego and Seattle.

February takes me to Orlando and NYC. March has me in Denver, Houston, San Fran and Los Angeles.

Great for the frequent flier account.

Tough on the frequently sleeping in the same bed as A* account.

This traveling is tough but, all things considered, all is well.

This is the first time A* has EVER lived with a mate. It is the first time for me in a very long time. We live together so well. We have the same cleanliness tolerance (which is huge). We are both good about keeping the communication lanes open for business. We are in love even after months of cohabitation and the challenge of finding her a job.

Despite the challenges and pressure on the bank accounts, I've never been happier.

The Hofzinser Tour 2007 hits the road tomorrow; first stop Dallas. Make sure you get your tickets early, I'm selling out quickly!

That's the end... go archiving you blogging FOOL!
